Chicken Biryani

Chicken Biriyani is a delicious dish made with rice, spices and chicken. It can be served with chicken curry/onion raita. It's a popular rice dish served during special occasions.
Ingredients:
Mint Leaves - bunch
Coriander leaves - bunch
Curry Leaves - bunch
Cinnamon - 2
Cloves - 4
Red Chilli - 3
Cashew - 10
Poppy seeds - 1 tsp
Tomato - 1
Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Ghee - 3 tsp
Onion - 2
Bay Leaf - 2
Salt - to taste
Water - 2 cup
Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
Basmati Rice - 1 cup

Method:
1. In a pan, fry the rice in 1 tsp ghee and keep aside.
2. Grind half mint leaves, half coriander leaves, half curry leaves, poppy seeds, cashew, red chilli, tomato, ginger garlic paste, 2 clove, 1 cinnamon to make a paste.
3. In a pressure cooker, heat oil and 2 tsp ghee and add clove, cinnamon, bay leaf, onions, curry leaves, mint leaves, coriander leaves and saute it.
4. Add the ground paste and saute it till the oil comes on top.
5. Add Chicken and salt along with 1 cup water and pressure cook it for 1 whistle.
6. Add coconut milk, 1 cup water, lemon juice, rice and little more salt for rice and pressure cook it for 2 whistles.
